A smooth, hot paste of chillies, tomatoes and garlic to mix-in, spread on or coat and cook. Use a teaspoon of Harissa with your meal as a table condiment, add a little couscous or mix into soups for an extra kick. Alternatively, mix with mayonnaise to make a delicious spicy dip.
It is my favourite paste and l have been having problems getting hold of it as the supermarkets mistakenly think theirs is as good. Wrong. Keep supplying.
