    Spelt is a species of wheat that has been cultivated since approximately 5000 BC. More water-soluble than wheat, it is easier for the body to digest and this White Spelt Flour produces a light eating loaf with its soft gluten characteristics. It can also be used in general baking of everything from pastry, to cakes, biscuits and pancakes. This White Spelt flour uses 100% of the spelt grain and makes delicious white loaves with a nutty taste, but can also be used in cakes and biscuits for something extra special..
